A downloadable Adventure Game
The Door Locks Behind You is a TTRPG for 2-5 players that sees players taking on the role of Heroes, characters opposing an occupying force of monsters controlled by the Tyrant.
Each region of the world contains a dungeon - a location twisted into a puzzling labyrinth by the Tyrant’s magic and populated by his chimeric monsters.
The Heroes will use whatever they can carry in addition to magic Key items in the dungeon to solve puzzles, defeat monsters, and ultimately challenge the Tyrant himself!
The rules are quick to learn and easy to memorize. Character sheets use print-and-play card based inventory to track encumbrance.
Tons of original art and an original soundtrack (here) help set the mood of light-hearted Legend of Zelda inspired adventures.
The game is inspired by New School dungeon adventure games, like Mausritter, Cairn, Into the Odd, and Knave.

The game says it's for 2-5 players; does this include the GM, or does the system expect there to be at least two Heroes?
Yes, 2-5 would refer to one GM plus 1-4 players. Duet play is perfectly fine!

Like this game a lot, it is a great Zelda like. especially great to play with people new to rpgs
